Community Iftar – Hosted by The Silk Route Charity
Iftar is all about coming together, sharing good food, and embracing the spirit of Ramadan. It’s a beautiful opportunity to connect as a community, reflect, and appreciate the blessings of the holy month with friends, neighbours, and family.
The Silk Route Charity is pleased to invite you to our Community Iftar at:

Food & What to Bring
This is a shared Iftar, so we kindly ask attendees to:
- Bring food for their own family members
- Bring extra to share, if they are able
- Include something to drink
- Bring prayer mats for use during the evening
Ticket Information
To help manage numbers and ensure everyone has a comfortable experience, attendance is limited to 110 places, and tickets must be booked in advance. There is one ticket type available.
- Community Iftar Ticket – £2.50 per person
- Each attendee requires a ticket.
- Children under 1 year old attend free of charge and do not require a ticket.
Tickets help cover the cost of the hall booking, with any remaining proceeds supporting The Silk Route Charity and its work towards future community events and a community centre.

This is a shared community meal. Attendees consume food at their own discretion and are responsible for checking ingredients and dietary suitability, including allergies. By participating, attendees acknowledge and accept any associated risks.
