About Our Charity
In 2015, a community in Chandler’s Ford, Eastleigh, UK, moved by the devastation of war across the world, sprang into action. A small group of volunteers began collecting money, clothes and medicine for those that needed assistance across the globe.
Now with a flourishing community, the charity serves the needs of Chandler’s Ford, Eastleigh, Chilworth, North Baddesley, Romsey and Ampfield with the following aims in mind:
- To promote religious harmony by raising Islamic awareness within the community
- To assist with the relief of sickness and the promotion of good health
- To provide a community place to build and develop community relationships for the benefit of the local community

The Silk Route Charity provides fully interactive Arabic lessons run by native Arabic speaking teaching staff. Students have access to multiple Arabic programmes online including Dinolingo accounts available from anywhere
