Evidence Review

The initial stages of research at TSRC have involved conducting evidence reviews of the sector, and specifically the topics that our researchers are working on.

These evidence reviews are vital to inform our research. They enable us to identify gaps and priorities and help to underpin policy and practice.

TSRC is also committed to providing a ‘research warehouse’ function. We are endeavouring to bring together, organise and store the growing literature on third sector concerns. In time we hope to provide an accessible online resource to make this widely available.

Dr Rob Macmillan is leading TSRCs evidence reviews. In this presentation, given at the NCVO-VSSN research conference, he explains how these evidence reviews are being conducted, and gives some details of the reviews in progress.
