David Mullins is leading TSRC’s research on housing within the service delivery stream. At the International Sociological Association Conference, 1-4th September, he gave a presentation on Housing and the Credit Crisis: Impacts and Prospects for the Structure of the UK Social Housing Sector 

The presentation, given with Professor Hal Pawson of Heriot-Watt University, covered a number of key issues raised by the credit crisis for third sector housing. It explored issues such as the hybrid social enterprise model adopted by housing associations, and sector restructuring through stock transfers from local authorities, mergers and growth.

David also presented some of his material at a University of Birmingham internal symposium: After the Credit Crunch, Collaborative Futures in Regeneration, on Sept 8 2009. This material will help inform the series of scoping papers which David is preparing for TSRC.
