Dr Rosie Meek
Lecturer in Psychology, University of Southampton
Rosie's work at TSRC focuses on the role of the Third Sector in the Criminal Justice System. Together with Alice Mills, Rosie is examining the role of the third sector in prisoner resettlement as well as the impact of volunteering on prisoners and ex-prisoners, their identities and their desistance from offending.
Rosie is a lecturer in social and forensic psychology at the University of Southampton where she carries out research concerning the imprisonment and resettlement of young offenders, the impact of imprisonment on the families of offenders and the evaluation of sports and community projects in reducing offending. Although working predominantly in the UK, Rosie's comparative research includes a cross-European and North American perspective.
