Dr Jeremy Kendall

Senior lecturer, School of Social Policy, Sociology and Social Research (SSPSSR), University of Kent

Jeremy Kendall is working primarily on the theoretical and policy streams of TSRC's work programme. This builds upon his existing interests by addressing fundamental questions about the rationales for, and meanings of, third sector policies and practices - in Britain and internationally.

Experience
Jeremy Kendall has worked as a researcher at the Personal Social Services Research Unit, at the University of Kent and the London School of Economics, as well as contributing to the M.Sc in voluntary sector organisation at the Centre for civil society, London School of Economics, before taking up his current post at Kent. Over the last 20 years, he has accumulated wide ranging inter-disciplinary research experience in relation to the third sector, and social and health care, especially care and support for older people. Much of this research has been international and/or comparative in character

For other research and teaching interests please see the SSPSSR website.
