Helen Dickinson

Lecturer, University of Birmingham

Helen works part time within the service delivery stream at TSRC, looking at health and social care. She is currently working on research considering the implications of the personalisation agenda for the third sector.

Helen is a Lecturer in Health Care Policy and Management for the Health Services Management Centre where she heads the Health and Social Care Partnership Programme. She also directs an MSc in Managing partnerships in health and social care and runs a range of other modules on HSMC’s Health Care Policy and Management MSc.

Experience
Helen is currently carrying out a range of research projects around areas such as priority setting and decision making in health care, clinical leadership and joint commissioning processes and outcomes in health and social care. She has written extensively around a number of key areas including inter-agency collaboration, leadership and priority setting in health care.
