Dr Domenico Moro
Research Fellow, Third Sector Research Centre, University of Birmingham
Domenico joined TSRC in September 2009 and is working on quantitative analysis, cutting across several research programmes. His focus is on the economic impact of third sector organisations in the UK.
His key priorities are to:
- Review the literature on the economics of the third sector;
- Provide quantitative measures of the activity of third sector organisations;
- Examine the workforce employed within the sector, their characteristics and contribution;
Experience
Prior to joining TSRC Domenico worked as a part-time researcher at Warwick Medical School, where he was involved in a wide range of research on pharmaceutical products and economic evaluation, cost-effectiveness of applications and decision analysis. He also had a post-doctorate grant at Universita’ Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Piacenza and was a lecturer of Health Economics at Catanzaro University and Economics at Politecnico di Milano.
